I am on a mission.
My name is Jordan Robinson, and I’m here to change the world. One step at a time, I plan on making my mark before I move on. I have always been helpful, it is a character trait that was built from the time I learned how to speak. Ever since I was a little girl, I have gone to the doctor’s office and I have been helped by the pediatricians. Whether it be the words of encouragement before a flu shot, or the sticker and lollipop that comes after, pediatricians have always been there to comfort me and help me through the tough times. That is why I want to become a pediatrician. I want to be the helping hand that makes the check-ups and sick visits not so scary. I want to be there for children of all ages to let them know that growing up is not as frightening as it seems. I want to be there for the children from the time they are born to the time they do not need me anymore. I want to make a difference.
I understand that I have to work hard to achieve this goal, and I will not look at it any differently than any other goal I am trying to reach. I have always been a competitive person. I have a unbounded hunger to strive and reach my full potential. This has reigned true through out my academic life as well as my social life. I have never received below a 3.5 GPA since sixth grade. I am a very studious person, and I am always interested in learning and experiencing new things. I have received Principal’s List multiple times, I have received Honor Roll on every other report card, and I was awarded “Best All Around” student in my 8th grade Civics and Economics class. I learn very quickly, and I also retain information very effectively. I am a sponge, absorbing all of the knowledge that is thrown at me.
According to my family and my peers, I am a very caring person. I try my best to be there for anyone who needs me, regardless of how close we are, friendship wise. I am a great listener, and I give advice to anyone who need it. I am a non-judgmental person, and I try to see the best in everything and everyone.
